Dem Senate Nominee Turns Trump’s Expletive-Laced Insult Right Back Around On Him

The Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed, gave a ruthless response to President Donald Trump calling him “full of shit” during an event in Las Vegas earlier this week. El-Sayed was asked about Trump’s remarks — including the president saying he was a gift to the Republican Party — in an interview with SkyNews’ James Matthews on Friday. The Democrat said he was a gift to the state of Michigan before delivering his brutal comeback. “And [Trump] says, if you’d pardon the language, that you’re full of shit. What do you say to that?” Matthews asked. “At least I don’t let mine go in the middle of the Oval Office,” El-Sayed said. Speaking to @jamesmatthewsky about President Trump's claim he was 'full of s***', the Democrats' Senate candidate for Michigan had a tongue-in-cheek response. pic.twitter.com/YdntO2Ucyu El-Sayed was likely making a reference to jokes about the president defecating on himself. Trump, in addition to his expletive-laden insult of El-Sayed, leaned hard into trying to falsely paint the Democrat as a “communist.” “They want to go right down to the bottom of the barrel. That’s communism. They want it to be a communist country. We’re not letting them have it as a communist country. Not even for a minute,” Trump said. Trump and many Republicans have, as of late, been rolling out the communist moniker for Democrats ahead of the midterms.
