Felony charges against former assistant principal Ebony Parker, accused of failing to take action to stop a six-year-old shooter, have been dismissed. Prosecutors alleged that Parker ignored warnings from other school staff that a first grader had come to class with a handgun. The student later shot teacher Abby Zwerner. Parker could have faced up to forty years in prison, but in a stunning move in the middle of the Virginia trial, the judge tossed all eight felony charges.
