It securely captures 2x - 3x more hair than my original, gridded drain cover, yet it doesn’t restrict water flow to the drain. And it lies so flush to the floor that it hasn’t posed a tripping hazard, or become unseated when I’ve accidentally nudged it. (I had been concerned that, since it doesn’t screw into place like my original cover, it would be easily knocked out of place, but it’s so low-profile and because it has the well for the mushroom that keeps it in the drain, it doesn’t.)
