Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), Candace Owens and Alex Jones responded to President Donald Trump’s lengthy Truth Social post attacking them and other right-wing figures on Thursday for their continued opposition to the war in Iran. “I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, especially by the fact that they think it is wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, to have a Nuclear Weapon — Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs,” Trump wrote in part. “As President, I could get them on my side anytime I want to, but when they call, I don’t return their calls because I’m too busy on World and Country Affairs and, after a few times, they go “nasty,” just like Marjorie “Traitor” Brown, but I no longer care about that stuff, I only care about doing right for our Country,” he continued, referring to Greene by his derogatory nickname for her. Greene responded on X shortly after Trump’s post, saying the group mentioned hasn’t “changed” but rather “Trump did.” “President Trump has gone mad as he wages war against Iran, a broken campaign promise. I fought alongside Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones to help get Trump elected. And now he goes off on a rambling rant attacking all of us in one post,” Greene wrote. And it’s so sad, the Iran war is a total disaster, a black eye for America.” “At the end of the day, I just feel sorry for him,” Jones continued. Melania Trump just contradicted her husband and said that the Epstein case cover-up is real and needs to be investigated. In the below report, I respond to President Trump’s unprecedented attack against myself and his other former top supporters.. https://t.co/ufqKs7ghv6 pic.twitter.com/ei9oXXF1gZ Kelly and Carlson did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment on the president’s post. All the figures named in the post have been critical of Trump’s decision to take military action against Iran, accusing him of going back on a key campaign promise not to start any new foreign wars.
