Koltin Consulting appoints new chief corporate development officer

Koltin Consulting Group (KCG), a US-based accounting and financial services consultancy, has named Brian Koltin as chief corporate development officer.

The company also announced two internal promotions as it expands its advisory work across the professional and financial services sector.

Koltin began his career in the Transaction Advisory Services group at RSM US. There, he carried out buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity firms and strategic buyers.

His experience includes quality of earnings analysis, net working capital assessments and other diligence supporting acquisitions and strategic transactions.

KCG CEO Allan Koltin said: “Brian brings a strong combination of transaction experience, analytical insight and industry perspective.

“As demand continues to grow for strategic advisory and M&A [mergers and acquisitions] guidance across professional and financial services, Brian will play an important role in supporting our clients and the continued growth of our firm.”

In terms of leadership changes, Donna Cox has been promoted to chief operating officer (COO) and will oversee company operations and internal infrastructure.

Angela Bruks has been promoted to chief of staff.

Last month, Koltin Consulting named Lisa Benson as its chief growth officer (CGO), a newly created position.

The company said the establishment of the CGO role is intended to accelerate its growth path and widen its advisory footprint.

Prior to joining, Benson held senior roles across international accounting networks, professional alliances and advisory businesses.

Her background spans growth strategy, relationship management and platform development, with a track record of linking company leaders, investors and advisers around shared expansion goals.
