Taylor Swift has revealed the "weird" habit her husband Travis Kelce has to "put up with".

During a special Q&A with Toy Story 5 director Andrew Stanton in New York City on Sunday, the Shake It Off singer revealed that the friendship between animated characters Bonnie and Blaze is meaningful because it reminds her of her bond with best pal Abigail Anderson.

"I'd love to pile on to what Andrew was saying about finding someone who's the same genre as weird and silly as you are and just why Bonnie and Blaze's story resonated with me so much," she said, according to a video posted on social media.

Taylor recalled being the "new kid in school" when she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, at age 14 and finding Abigail, who was on her same wavelength.

"There was one girl named Abigail - and she even has curly hair, too, like Blaze - and the two of us, all we wanted to do was talk in Napoleon Dynamite voices," she continued. "And we still do this - and it's something our husbands have to put up with."

The pop superstar then jokingly gave an example of a regular everyday conversation they might have in their Napoleon Dynamite voices. The quirky comedy, starring Jon Heder, was released in 2004.

"And so it's like, you know, when you find that person who just completely sees you for the strange, little genre that is you at your purest, that hit me so hard watching the film," she added.

Taylor married the American football player in New York City's Madison Square Garden on 3 July.

The Blank Space singer is widely expected to lead the Best Original Song race this awards season with her Toy Story 5 track I Knew It, I Knew You.
